Considering therapy?
How many sessions will I need?
In short, it's up to you.
You are the expert of your life and I'm guided by you with how many sessions you feel you need or want. You may feel the benefits after a few sessions but you may also find the journey is a longer one.
I would describe 6 - 12 weeks as short term therapy and 6 months plus as long term therapy, I ask for one week's notice to end therapy to ensure we have a good and safe ending.
What should I expect from therapy?
You can expect a space where you will be heard, where you can be yourself without fear of judgement or criticism.
Therapy is built upon trust so confidentiality is guaranteed.
We work at a pace that's right for you, in the direction that you want to go. I use my training, skills and experience to help you find your way towards what it is you want and need.
I like to celebrate with you when you make the progress you desire. There can be tears and emotional healing along the way and at times therapy can also be fun.
